Breathing as If You’re Worthy of What You Desire

This breath-based worthiness practice invites you to explore how your body might breathe if it already knew it was worthy of everything you desire. If affirmations tend to stay intellectual or you find yourself trying to think your way into confidence, abundance, or self-worth, this meditation helps you let the breath and body experiment with that state before the mind has figured it out. Set the intention, witness what changes, and practice breathing from the embodied assumption that you are already worthy to receive.

Hello, beautiful soul, and welcome to Meditate with Mandy. I’m Mandy, and it is a pleasure and an honor to be here with you today.

Let’s go ahead and get cozy and comfy in our space. Feather your nest. Make it feel safe. Let your posture be both soothing for your body and still contribute to alertness in your mind. And when you’re ready, my sweet friend, flutter those beautiful eyelids closed and take a deep breath in through your nose and let it out through the mouth.

Another deep breath in through your nose and let it out through your mouth. Two more. Easy breath in through your nose now, and let tension melt out on your exhale. Even easier, even slower. Inhale through nose and smooth like sweet syrup out through mouth.

Gorgeous, my sweet friend. Gorgeous.

Now move into your nose-only breathing, in through nose, out through nose. Easy. Ground pace. Your body’s easy pace.

And let’s let some tension melt away as we breathe. Breathe into the forehead, and out of the forehead. Breathe into the eyeballs. Breathe out of the eyeballs. Breathe into the jaw, awareness. Breathe out of the jaw, gentle gratitude. Breathe into the neck. Breathe out of the neck. Breathe into the shoulders. Breathe out of the shoulders. Breathe into the back muscles. Breathe out of the back muscles.

Breathe into the chest. You guessed it, breathe out of the chest. Breathe into the stomach. Breathe out of the stomach. Breathe into the hips. Breathe out of the hips. Breathe into the groin and glutes. Breathe out of the groin and glutes. Breathe into the thighs. Breathe out of the thighs. Breathe into the calves. Breathe out of the calves. Breathe into the ankles. Breathe out of the ankles. Breathe into the feet and toes. Breathe out of the feet and toes.

Breathe into the fingers and hands. Breathe out of the fingers and hands. Breathe into the wrists and forearms. Breathe out of the forearms. Breathe into the upper arm muscles. Breathe out of the upper arm muscles.

Let’s do a sweeping breath from toe to head. Inhale in through the nose, and then exhale from head to toe, out through the mouth.

Beautiful.

Settle back into that nasal breathing. And if it feels like home, place your awareness in the center of your chest, breathing easy as I speak to you, my dear friend.

Your breath carries infinite power.

And we’re going to play with that power today.

We’re going to play. It will be easy. You might get wild and smile a little bit as we experiment like mad spiritual scientists.

But today, we will be breathing in the rhythm of worthiness.

Now, something magnificent about the alchemical romance between your body and your breath is that your body already knows how to do this if we just set the intention.

Your mind may be like, What is happening?

And we love that.

We love you, beautiful mind.

Give it a little kiss.

But the body and the breath, they carry a wisdom that we will trust and we will play with.

Here’s the intention we’re dropping into the center of our chest today:

What would it feel like to breathe as if I am worthy of all I desire?

If I was truly worthy of everything I desire materially, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, how would I breathe?

Worthiness breath.

Now, if your mind is anything like mine, it might hop in with some very intellectual answers. Well, I would, you know, stand up tall and probably take nice deep breaths and, you know, I’d put my chin up and pop my chest out and, you know, deep spiritual rooted breath.

And your mind might do a similar thing if it’s anything like mine, come up with some beautiful intellectual rationale for a style, a persona.

And we love that.

Thank you, mind.

And after we notice that, we bring our attention right back to the center of our chest, if that feels like home, if that feels spacious and nourishing.

And we ask the question again:

What would it feel like to breathe as if I were worthy of everything I desire?

We are going to invite our breath and our body to alchemize together, and we’re just going to watch.

We will not influence.

We will not establish a narrative, even though I know we could do great if we wanted to at that.

We’re just gonna watch the play.

And we’re gonna let the ether, the divine consciousness that so many, so many souls have received profound enlightenment from, including us, inform our body. And our body will alchemize that breath and then inform the ether and inform the breath.

And the two will transact.

And it’s going to be play.

So as we inhale, we’ll just intend that it’s the inhale of a body that feels worthy of all its desires. And as we exhale, we’ll intend that it’s the exhale of a body that feels worthy of all of its desires.

That’s all.

And then we’ll watch the show.

My sweet friend, we’re going to notice what these breaths feel like. We’re going to notice how our emotions shift, the thoughts that pop up, how our body itself changes, tenses, or releases.

And like the coolest bosses ever, we won’t micromanage a bit of it.

We’ll just watch the show.

Quiet gratitude.

Witnessing.

And when our mind wanders off and we forget where we are and what we’re doing, we’ll just bring it right back to the center of our chest and remind ourselves that we are simply witnessing worthiness breathing.

The breath of the worthy.

So let’s play.

Settle in, breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.

[Silent interlude]

Beautiful, my sweet friend.

Beautiful.

How would you breathe if you believed you were worthy of all of your desires?

How would your body breathe?

You don’t need to know whether you’re worthy of all of your desires, but P.S., you are.

You don’t need to know how to accomplish and achieve those desires. You don’t need a master plan, a game plan, or even a to-do list.

The beauty of play.

The beauty of ease.

The beauty of presence.

The only thing needed is you.

Your ability to witness, to be conscious even just for a moment of the alchemical magic of your body without having to understand it. Your ability to set an intention and simply trust that it is finished.

Your ability to simply show up as you did today.

That was enough.

You are enough.

And something has changed within you simply by asking the question.

You’ve invited in the breath. You’ve invited in the state of being that precedes even the thoughts that then help give you direction.

You see, it is this step and this intention that comes before the insights, before the new way of thinking.

It is this moment.

So now, my beautiful beloved soul, you are aligned and attuned to all that you desire, and better than you can imagine.

Let’s take some sealing breaths on it, shall we?

Four deep breaths in through the nose, out through the mouth. Easy, but with depth.

Starting now, deep breath in through the nose, out through the mouth. Deep breath in, nose. Let it go out through the mouth.

Inhale, nose, power.

Exhale, mouth, fear.

Nose, smile.

Exhale, mouth.

When you’re ready, my sweet friend, you may flutter your beautiful eyelids open like butterfly wings and greet your world.

Carry this breath with you today or tonight, wherever you are in time.

The breath of a being that knows it’s worthy of all of its desires, that knows it, believes it, accepts it, trusts it, and is open to it.

It is the only compass required to land precisely on true north.

Until we meet again, my sweet friend, I am sending you all of the love that I’ve got.

It’s always more.

It’s never less.

Because you, dear one, you are so very worthy of it.
