Hello, beautiful soul, and welcome to Meditate with Mandy. I am Mandy, your humble host and deep meditator, and today we’re talking about how straight men have gay minds.
Before we begin, let me tell you the purpose of this video. The purpose is to reach out to any male or female who has felt like they are at war with understanding masculine energy and feminine energy.
For those who identify as queer or transgender, that is a magic completely aligned with the evolution of humanity, but that is for a separate video. Today, I’ll be focusing on the straights, as I like to call them: those with XX and XY chromosomes who are born into male and female bodies and identify with the gender they were assigned at birth.
Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus
What is that old saying? Men are from Mars and women are from Venus.
For as long as I’ve been walking around in this iteration on this planet, I’ve heard all kinds of rhetoric about how men can’t understand women and women can’t understand men, particularly in the religious circles from whence I came as a young person.
So when I finally developed the ability to enter deep meditative states, it became intensely interesting to me to begin looking at the energy of men and women symbolically, geometrically, emotionally, mentally, and physically, and to discover what the root of the misunderstanding between the sexes really was.
This entire transmission is founded on the concept of yin-yang: the phenomenon that all is whole and contains two aspects, shadow and light, masculine and feminine, projective and receptive.
Men and women are both full and complete in yin and yang.
So what is it about men that makes them crave masculine energy so much?
Let’s get right into it.
Why Men Seek the Approval of Men
You may have noticed that, socially speaking, men crave the approval and energy of other men. This can extend even to the women they select into their lives: they are often selecting with the hope of indexing higher in status, appealing to other men, or being approved of by other men.
There is an incredible energetic reason for this, and that is why I titled this video the way I did.
It isn’t that men necessarily want to have sex with other men.
It’s because men have minds that are female.
Let’s take a look at men.
Men represent the yang, or projective, aspect of the yin-yang circle, but they only represent that aspect in the material world.
Isn’t that funny?
You’ve probably heard it said many times that it’s a man’s world. And it is. Even our understanding of spirituality at this point has largely been filtered through the minds of men, so there is a reason why it is so male-focused.
That has not, however, been the entire picture.
Men: Yang in the Body, Yin in the Mind
When, in meditation, we perceive a male’s physical anatomy on this material planet, it is a light being. His anatomy contains more projective energy than the anatomy of a woman.
However, when we enter deep energetic meditation and begin viewing the whole picture, that is only true on the material plane.
In the material world, men represent yang. In the immaterial world, the nonphysical world that so many mystics call the world of mind, the other half of male energy is feminine.
So while you see a man with projective anatomy here on this planet, if you close your eyes and look through your spiritual eyes into the mental realm, you will see that the same man is a woman in the mental realm.
It is the same being, the same soul, but in order to be whole and complete, the aspect represented on the physical material plane is inverted in the mental realm.
Because our society up until now has largely been informed by male material perspectives, everything has been written from the vantage point of the material. That has had immense value, by the way. It is a nice foundation to stand upon so that I can deliver the other half of the message to you.
When we invert the picture, we realize that men may be the men of the material world, but they are the women of the mental realm.
The other equally chaotic version of this title that I was playing with was Women Are the Men of the Mental Realm, because the exact same thing is true in reverse.
Women: Yin in the Body, Yang in the Mind
If we look at a woman, her anatomy represents the receptive aspect of the universe. She is yin.
Here in the material realm, she represents the aspect of the universe characterized by passivity or receptivity, but that is only true in the material realm.
As soon as we look through the mind’s eye, the third eye in deep meditation, the inverse becomes immediately evident:
She is the man of the mental realm.
This has enormous implications. As you can imagine, those implications help explain why men and women find themselves so frequently at odds with one another at this juncture in human history.
For men, it is obvious that we live in a so-called man’s world. This world has been optimized toward generation, projection, assertiveness, charisma, and everything that can come out of you, so to speak. Those qualities are aligned with the yang element.
In the material world, things seem to work relatively well for men. Sort of.
But what is really going on behind the scenes?
The Receptive Male Mind
Yes, men naturally align with projective, generative energy. That means they can master the material world to a certain point, but as we have just learned, that is not the totality of a man.
He may have a man’s body in the physical world, but the moment we recognize that he is female in the mind, everything changes. We begin to understand why men are so fixated on other men.
Men are receptive and passive in their minds, just as women are receptive and passive in the material world.
What a man is able to do in the mental realm is therefore not identical to what he is able to do in the material realm. He is not running, hunting, and projecting in the mind. If he is, it is probably throwing his entire system out of alignment because he is depleting the yang energy of his material vessel in order to deliver it to his nonphysical vessel, his mind.
That always throws something off.
This can happen when individuals are dealing with physical challenges, when for whatever reason they are unable to tap into their health, when they are not mobile in the world, or when they are reclusive. Those exceptions aside, the balance of a man is to be generative and projective in his physical body, and receptive and passive in his mind.
Where Are Men Getting Their Directions?
Because of the way this iteration of human society evolved, men have occupied the power position for a very long time.
So who would they look to in the mental realm for ideas? Who would they look to for insight? Who would they look up to within the hierarchy if their minds are indeed passive and feminine?
Bring in religion.
This is why religion, particularly in the West, had to be created with a masculine daddy figure disseminating wisdom and knowledge. There was such a preference for masculine energy that even the voice delivering knowledge to the receptive male mind had to be masculine.
This is aligned with ego, materialism, and a host of other shadows, and it has thrown our society and our relationships with one another, men and women, way off.
It is not how the system functions at its best.
And I bet you can already guess why.
Working within this framework, in which men are receptive and passive in their minds but projective and generative in their bodies, men need direction. They need to be told what to do, they need mentors, and they need examples.
There is nothing wrong with this. It is completely natural.
But because of the way our society evolved socially, there is an enormous missing component concerning where men should be sourcing that information most effectively.
They continue to look to other men, who then look to other men, who then look to other men.
But where are those men getting their information?
Cue women.
Women as Generators in the Mental Realm
Women in the material realm are anatomically representative of the yin element of the universe: receptive and passive. If you look at female anatomy, it is nowhere near as muscular, generative, or physically strong as a man’s, and if you look more closely, you will realize it is void of certain specific parts. In the place of those parts is a literal void.
But the woman’s anatomy can generate life.
Yes, it takes a sperm and an egg to create life. There is no doubt about it: both are required. But then it takes something else.
It takes a woman’s body.
This represents the mind incarnate.
Flip that polarity into the mental realm and women are men in the mind. Everything we see in men on the material plane, their generative nature, projective nature, and their ability to hunt, capture, move, lift, and build, is true of women in the mental realm.
The ones running, keeping lists, breaking new ground, pioneering, and innovating in the mind are women.
Now you can begin to understand why, on the material plane, it makes beautiful sense for men in their physical bodies to build, generate, project, lift, defend, and protect, while it makes beautiful sense for women in their physical bodies to receive, allow, align, and bask.
Flip it around, and their mental roles are identically opposite.
So from whom should a male be receiving his directions to build?
A female.
Why?
Because she is the man of the mind, and he is the woman of the mind. He should be receiving, listening, and learning, because that is the highest source of wisdom he has access to.
The Closed Loop
Now we arrive back at the title of this video.
When I say straight men have gay minds, I am not saying that straight men are secretly seeking sexual pleasure from other men. Again, that is completely legitimate, but that is not what I mean here.
I mean that straight men have been socialized and enculturated to look almost exclusively to other men for mental guidance.
It is a closed loop. It is a broken circuit.
They cannot evolve, grow, or lift themselves beyond the consciousness where they are currently located if they are not tapping into the insights of women.
This is why so many powerful men throughout history have kept powerful female companions close. Whether they were married to them, using them as oracles, or consulting them as psychics or witches, these powerful men knew that they needed a woman’s ability to traverse the realm of mind in order to raise their own consciousness and evolve themselves.
The archetypes of man and woman were made to go together.
And by the way, even gay men know this. In fact, I would go so far as to say gay men are far more aware of this than straight men are.
You Already Contain Both
So what are the practical takeaways? How can you absorb this information and move through the world with it?
First, both men and women already contain a man and a woman within themselves. For the record, although men and women make excellent companions, you are not required to have an opposite-sex companion in order to live a full, ecstatic, blissful life.
That is just for funsies.
To evolve, create balance, and reach the highest point of consciousness, the male archetype needs discipline. This means that if you are a man in your physical body, your physical body needs to be disciplined. If you are a man in your mind, meaning you have a female body, that mind needs to be disciplined.
Why?
Because projective, generative, masculine yang energy becomes completely unhinged when it is not disciplined and reined in.
We see this in men through their physical bodies, and we see it in women through their minds.
What happens if a man does not discipline his body? I don’t think I need to answer that question for you.
What happens if a woman does not discipline her mind? I probably do not need to answer that question either, but because we cannot see the mind visually, and because we are so attuned at this point to perceiving things exclusively through physical eyes, I’ll give you an idea.
If a woman does not discipline the man of her mind, her mental state becomes paranoid, suspicious, and obsessive. She generates insane fantasies, whether she acts upon them or not, and she creates such an aura of dysfunction around herself that it throws off the balance of anyone who enters that aura.
All of those same principles apply to a man whose physical body is not disciplined.
The Feminine Principle Needs Pleasure
What about the inverse?
To bring balance to the feminine aspect, it is all about pleasure.
If you are born into a female body, that body is already programmed with pain and suffering. Men do not understand this because the male body is born into an equilibrium that is already pleasurable. All things being equal, his body is balanced. He can run, move, generate, and keep going.
This is not true for a woman.
A woman’s body is already at a deficit. It is already a void. She has pain built into it, and she is at the mercy of cycles and seasons that continually challenge her to bring herself back into equilibrium.
If a woman’s body does not have pleasure, she will become so depleted that she will age quickly, lose her health, lose her beauty, spark, and vitality, and become unhappy. It will become difficult for her to find bliss.
Pleasure is essential for the female body.
And for men, whose minds are female, pleasure is essential for the mind.
It is already obvious what pleasure might look like for a female body, I hope. But what does pleasure look like for the mind of a man?
Men Need Emotional Pleasure
For a man, the ideal world is one in which he has known emotional incentives: bliss, laughter, camaraderie, teamwork, intimacy, and the other emotional experiences that give meaning to his actions.
Those emotions serve as incentives for why he disciplines his body. They are much longer lasting and will carry him farther than the momentary pleasures of the body that quickly fizzle out.
Orgasms are a great way to see this visually.
For the female body, an orgasm is ideally built over days, hours, or many, many minutes. Then the orgasmic experience itself can either be long-lasting or repeated multiple times. When it comes to female pleasure, it is the long game.
That is evident in female anatomy.
The opposite is true in male anatomy.
Now take that female orgasmic principle and apply it to the realm of mind.
It is essential that men be in touch with their emotions in order to experience pleasure in the mind, because emotional pleasure sustains the actions they commit throughout any given day.
If a man does not have a strong emotional why, he will suffer. It does not matter how much he disciplines his body, how much money or wealth he accumulates, or how many fleeting physical pleasures appear along the way.
The woman who lives inside a man’s mind has to be sustained with a long foreplay of emotion: an understanding that every action he commits throughout the day is adding up to the emotions he wants to experience throughout a lifetime.
That is why one of the most pressing issues in society today is getting men’s emotional regulation on board, activating their emotional bodies, and getting them in touch with their emotions.
Women Need Mental Discipline
And on the other side, there is nothing more important than getting a woman in touch with her intellect, her ability to think, and her ability to discipline her mind.
She must learn to discipline herself from immediately running with the same emotions that a man needs to sit with, experience, and understand.
This is the balance.
Men need access to the feminine realm of emotion within their minds. Women need access to the masculine realm of discipline within theirs.
Neither is lacking the opposite polarity. It is already there.
Every Man Is a Woman, and Every Woman Is a Man
In closing, Your Honor, I’ll leave you with a few nuggets.
Every man is a woman, and every woman is a man.
If you want to build intimacy with masculine energy, you already have it within you. It is either in your mind or in your body, and the same is true of feminine energy.
A great starting point is to understand the mind of your mother, because you inherit your mother’s mind and your father’s body. I do not mean that genetically. I mean it energetically.
These are all seeds for you to sit with, my sweet friend, and explore through your own meditation practice.
I have spent thousands of hours meditating, but you do not have to. All you need to do is develop a daily meditation practice and return to it every single day. As you build upon that practice, you can take any concept and look at it through the lens of your own beautiful eyes, whether physical or nonphysical, and see the truth of things and how they apply specifically to you.
Every individual is their own creature with their own amalgamation of masculine and feminine energies. These premises are simply meant to give you an understanding so that, as you know thyself, and as you understand the people in your orbit and why they behave the way they do, you can more effectively optimize your own life toward bliss, joy, camaraderie, and connection.
Until we meet again, my sweet friend, I am sending you all of the love that I’ve got.
It’s always more, and it’s never less, because you are so very worthy of it.
